Why Threatened?
Crimson spider orchid was threatened because they are vulnerable and are easy to be endangered. Human activities can easily threatened them because their habitat are known to most common activities such as:
- Vehicle driving leaving established tracks
- Inappropriate fire regimes and track maintenance
- Habitat clearance
- stock grazing
- weeds
- Rabbits ( predators)
- small population sizes
- low recruitment
- pollination rates
- Rubbish dumping
- Firewood collection
Crimson Spider Orchid looked really Vulnerable that it can be easily endangered
Rubbish Dumping can pollute the Crimson spider orchid's environment and causing to not grow properly
- The Crimson Spider Orchid need good air to breathe
- Good environment to grow and live in it
- they need good land that is clean and is faraway from any human activities
One Big threat to the Crimson spider orchid:
Fire Regimes:
Fire Regimes is the most dangerous threat, it can spread easily in just a minute, no plants can survive from this threat.
Environment are mostly destroyed by fire regimes, if environment was destroyed by the fire what the plants?
The Crimson spider orchid is very vulnerable that it can be very easily endangered!

Location:
The Crimson Spider Orchid is located in NSW Albury Park and is the best site to keep and protect these unique species.
The Crimson Spider Orchid is known to different parts of Australia but the main focus is in NSW which would be the main location of the Plant.
This map shows the location of all the crimson spider orchid. if we do not save and help Crimson spider from becoming extinct or more threatened, then our lovely species will be extinct forever!
How can we Help?
The Crimson Spider orchid are known to be very vulnerable and had been stated on the common wealth status. We people can help by:
- Road and track works; we must try to reduce accidental damage on the road or the tracks edges.
- Install informative signs so that people would know that this is an area for plants and their home.
- For inappropriate fire regimes, we must exclude any fire from all of the site and we must be active for fire suppression
- Predators to come, put up a fence and secure the environment
- Invasive Grass growing, always try to maintain the grass densities at a low level.
Opinions/Perspective of People:
Many people are giving different opinions about the endangered Crimson spider. What do they think of it?
Conservation Worker: Plants supply medicine for us human and without them the ecosystem will not work, so why are we killing them or threatening them?
Scientists: Plants and animals are all important for the ecosystem and they played big roles, without them we will not discover amazing things to find out more about their life. The world will be dry!
Public: Plants being threatened will be very disappointing for everyone. we do not want any of our animals to be endangered or become extinct. Plants make our world to look beautiful.
School Students: If we do not save the Crimson Spider orchid then it will be easily extinct and we will not know about this unique plant and the next future generation will not know more about native plants of their country.
